Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

Halloween is almost just around the corner - and even though everything is different this year, we still don't have to miss out on the fun of putting on make-up and dressing up, right? So: Grab everything your cosmetics cabinet has to offer and let off steam to your heart's content, there are no limits to your imagination! In most cases, eyeshadow, eyeliner and lipstick are enough to transform yourself into a ghost, witch, vampire, zombie, etc. You can find countless tutorials and sources of inspiration on YouTube, Instagram and Pinterest to transform yourself into a scary creature of your choice in no time. If that's too much effort for you, it's often enough to base your face white, frame your eyes generously in black (i.e. give them a slightly out-of-control smokey eye ;)) and give your mouth a nice, bright red look to set. With such relatively simple make-up and a suitable outfit and hairstyle, you are guaranteed to pass as a witch, vampire or skeleton.

Don't forget to take off your make-up

The following is particularly important to us: removing make-up! To ensure that your skin looks radiantly beautiful again the next day, you should definitely remove your make-up thoroughly after your trip into the world of spirits and ghosts. Because at night our skin regenerates itself from the stresses of the day: dry skin cells detach from the surface of the skin and at the same time new skin layers are formed. However, all of this can only happen unhindered if our skin has been completely freed of make-up and dirt particles. If this is not the case, irritation or clogged pores may occur. The result: premature skin aging, blackheads and pimples. For this reason, you shouldn't skip taking off your make-up every day if possible, no matter how tired you are. We personally love and therefore recommend the double cleansing method, a gentle but intensive cleaning in two steps.

Step 1: A gentle oil-based cleanse. In this step, all oily substances such as make-up and sebum are removed from your face using an oil balm. To do this, you rub it in your hands until it reaches body heat and gently massage it into your face. Then add a little water until a milky emulsion is created. You can now rinse off the oil-water mixture with a soft cloth or with clear water. Thanks to the gentle treatment with the oil, your skin does not dry out but remains soft and supple.

Step 2: Splish, splash – now comes the foam phase! This step tackles deep-lying impurities and removes them gently and thoroughly. To do this, apply the foam thoroughly with your hands and then wash it off with clear, lukewarm water. Complete. Your skin is now really thoroughly cleansed and can absorb the following care products particularly well, which increases their effect many times over. By the way: Double Cleansing is not only suitable for removing Halloween make-up, but also for your everyday care routine. With regular use, your skin becomes more even and your skin texture improves significantly.

And now: Happy Halloween!
